Cooling Issue, need help

I have a '68 GS400 automatic. The car runs 190 degrees on the hwy. In town, as long as you are moving (engine RPMs up), runs aruound 200 degrees. On a real hot day numbers will be up a bit.
However if the car sets at idle it is fine for 3 or 4 minutes, and then the temp gauge starts climbing up to 230 region, I dont know what would happen if I let it continue. It has stock fan setup without clutch, 4 blade fan blade. It also has a Permacool electric fan on the grill side blowing in...

How difficult would it be (read: expensive) to find a pair of buckets & a console for this era GS?

guys , this is my 1st posting. been with the gsca since 1986, when I bought my 87 GN new . still have it , though converted to a modified GNX tribute car.bought lots of diecast both gs and gn over the years.... I'm listing the following diecast cars for sale : have a matching serial # set of all 3 gs nat's 1/18 scale cars. purchased 2 complete sets plus a few extras when they came out. sold the extras now willing to let the extra set go .all of these cars were limited to 2550...

Hi Y'all, I'm new to the board. I'm looking for my original 1966 Skylark Grand Sport. In 1965, I ordered a 1966 Skylark Gran Sport in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. I loved that car, and am wondering if anyone out there might have it today. It was a two-door hardtop, sliver with a black vinyl bench seat, equipped with a 4-speed. The VIN was 6H161452.
