			<description><![CDATA[ Hi guys, I just came back from a 4 hour road trip to New Mexico and I have started to notice that there is humming noise in the front end. When I let off the
gas and slow down, I can hear it more clearly. The noise isn&#39;t that so load but it is noticeable. I seem to  feel it in the steering wheel as well as a
soft vibration when slowing down. Any help is appreciated.

slightly cross-threaded it during one attempt and damaged the thread on the brass female fitting on the trans that the cooling line screws into.  Even though
the threads don&#39;t look messed up, I&#39;ve been having a hard time hooking this line up.  I can thread it easily into the other brass fitting, so I know

			<description><![CDATA[ How difficult is it to put a 700R4 behind a 401 in a '66 Skylark that now has a ST/SP300? I know there is a kit to mount the tranny to the motor but what crossmember changes are needed and how about carb linkage? Cable type is needed as I have read. <br>It seems like a great combo for the short on HP nailhead to have a set of 3.73's to 3.90's with an OD that is 68% of those ratios. Better ACCELLERATION AND NICE CRUISING RPM'S BUT IS IT WORTH IT AND HOW DIFFICULT,sorry for the caps. THX ]]></description>

Well has anyone done this or does anyone remember anyone who did?<br>How about an article from the day with a 4-speed and say 3.36 gears, what did the Skylark GS run then instaed of the lame 2.93 open rear 2-speed? <br>Last if the 2004R or 700R4 were installed into the car would much cutting be required and would the stock shifter allow... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a '72 GS 455 and want to upgrade to a 4 speed overdrive. The car had a th350 put in it by the previous owner and it appears that the output shaft bushing or shaft is faulty.  I was experiencing driveline vibration and significant trans fluid leakage even with a new seal I installed. Then   I installed a new driveshaft which was balanced and a rear seal and it still vibrates and leaks. I took the trans tailshaft housing off and the bushing is beat up with numerous abnormal grooves... ]]></description>
