Hello. I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I have been looking at a 71 GS in my local boneyard. Its missing a bunch of stuff including the drive train. Is there any way I can figure out if its came with a 455 or a 350? It is my understanding that if the 2nd and 3rd digits of the vin will be '34' its a true GS, correct? Thanks
