UPCOMING BUICK EVENTS

MAY 12-16, 2009 - The GS NATIONALS - The granddaddy of them all is the annual GS Nationals, open to all Buick-powered vehicles. The dates are May 12th thru 16th in Bowling Green, Kentucky at Beech Bend Raceway. We have gone every year since 1988 as a vendor. Once again, we will be set up in our usual spots. We will have a large array of used parts, many priced at $25 or less. Pete Hoffman will also be there with lots of parts. Richard Clark will also be with us.

Various headings will appear including hotels, registration info, etc. They should have the various rules for each race class posted as well as the figures for payout for TSA class we have listed below. You can also find more information on - turbobuick.com - Click on message board and scroll down to Racing Rules and Discussions. Look for the heading for TSA Rules and Regulations. Click on that heading and all the info that has been posted will appear.
ZDDPlus™ is also one of the 2 major sponsors for this year's F.A.S.T. events along with National Parts Depot. This is another nationally recognized event that features stock appearing muscle cars.
I have been informed that on Tuesday the gates open at noon and Buick's have full use of the drag strip from 3 pm until 5 pm. At 5 pm the track will also be open to the local racers for Test and Tune. Buick racers are permitted to stay on and race until the usual closing time on Tuesday, which is between 9 and 10 pm. It gives Buick racers a chance to race against the local racers. The fee for Tuesday is $5 for spectator and $5 to race. That must be paid, even if you are just dropping off your trailer or equipment.
