As for the Saturday racing issue our RD Jim Carswell explains the reasoning below.
"I canceled all the racing Sat. for just the reason Scott described above. By the time the track was dry enough to send any cars down a good many had already left for home trying to beat the weather. I opened up test and tune once I fealt the track was safe enough and that wasn't until mid afternoon. I didn't want to shaft those that left or make those that stayed feel obligated to run if they didn't feel safe on the track after the weather that we had. The GSCA payouts will roll over into next year. As for the payouts from the classes themselves, that is something that each racer will have to take up with the RRA for that class. For those of us that paid in advance and didn't get to race Fri and classes and Heads up classes where canceled for Sat.
Who do we talk to about this???? Or do we get new race and entry tickets for NEXT YEAR??? thansk JD |

Ron,
Hello. Please remember what you do for one I feel you must do for all. I have been coming to BG for a number of years. This is the first time we had a complete rainout on both Friday and Saturday. I am not in the least upset because I believe "you pay your money and take your chances." However, I do believe my above sentence must be followed. Thanks for all of your efforts. Willard Brown |

Hi Willard,
A solution to this situation is currently being worked on. I'm in FL right now bouncing back & forth between Naples & Sarasota looking for a vacation home. I expect prices to bottom out by years end hope to be ready to score a good deal by then. Once I get back home next week I'll get back into this issue. Once I get a resolution on this I'll post here. Got a lot of things going on right now so in case it takes longer than I expect it to, don't let me off the hook, & rattle my cage via e-mail. BTW, real nice white car ... Ron J. |

" _____________________________________ We've chatted many times in both BG & Reynolds. Knowing what class you raced in helps me answer your question. I believe Julio Don is the RRA for your class. He should be in a position to answer all your questions regarding what was the outcome. BTW, I read above you build GNX clones. If interested I have a huge inventory of OEM GNX parts. In fact everything needed to build another one with the exception of the brackets needed to mount the two fender vents. Ron J. |

I understand that we have no control on the weather but even at local tracks you get a ticket to use if the event is called on RAIN. if people where able to use tickets they already PAID FOR that would be GREAT!!!! not asking for anything for nothing just what is FAIR. thanks JD ps will let you know on the OEM parts .
